As we walk through the process, you'll be developing your Podcast Cover Art.

What is "cover art" you ask? It is like the book cover for your podcast.

More about your cover art development:

4 Versions

Remember, you'll want have templates mocked up that your graphic designer can edit in the future.

Version 1: Square SHOW Art - this represents your show. As people flip through podcasts, this is the cover art that they will likely see.

Version 2: Wide SHOW Art - a wide version is created for your website, social posts, and other miscellaneous opportunities to promote your show.

Version 3: Square EPISODE Art - this is an editable version created on Photoshop, Canva, or Adobe Spark that your graphic designer can edit with the name and/or image of the guest, name, title, and/or topic of the episode. This version appears for episodes on some podcasting platforms like Spotify.

Version 4: Wide EPISODE Art - this is also an editable version to customize for each episode and used for show notes featured image and social posts.

THE STEPS TO COMING UP WITH IDEAL COVER ART

We help Podcast Ignition System Members develop cover art during the 30 Day Power Start.

1. Select 1-3 inspiration images. Click here to see our Podcast Cover INSPIRATION gallery, and you can grab images from other podcasts that you find as well. Tell us or your designer what you like and dislike about each selection.

2. Use the Cover Art Mockup Request Form to send the inspiration images to us and we'll create some mock-ups to move you closer to your final cover art.

3. We include a revision round in our process, so you can send us comments and we'll revise the mockups as you'd like.

4. Have your graphic designer create the 4 cover art templates. Be sure that your ongoing graphic designer has access to the EPISODE art versions so he/she can edit them as new episodes roll out.

We are excited to see what YOUR cover art will look like!
